The History of Speedy as I know it: Speedy were Philip, Bronwen, Moony, Paul and Richard (Richard had replaced Tracey in Blammo! sometime before Spongyworld). Signed to Arista, they released a limited edition 7" Sporting Life which charted nationally and hit #2 on the indie charts with constant rotation on Radio 1. Tremendous television exposure followed, including an appearance on Football Focus. An album was recorded for Arista but, alas, Speedy and Arista parted company before its release. Speedy continued to be a spectacular live attraction but ceased to exist in 1998 or thereabouts.

What next?Well, I will try to complete the discography and fill in the blanks in the biographies. If you can help, please drop me a line. Someday I will post some lyrics, some other postcards and stuff I have (if I can find any of it). Or not.
